We are so proud of Poco, he is our first champion!
Poco made his debut in May of 2003 at the National Maltese Specialty in Ontario, CA. There, he won third place in the Puppy Sweeps 6-9 month class, he then finished the show winning first place in his age group under the prestigious judge,
Mrs. Vicki Abbott. Needless to say, it was quite a Mother's Day!
Poco finished his championship in just 4 shows, with 4 Major wins and one, Best of Breed! All under the age of 12 months! We took Poco to Conformation classes on a weekly basis and enjoyed socializing him. He is quite the "ham" and usually just rolls over if he even thinks you are coming his way...he'll do anything for a tummy rub!
Our friends and Mentors, Mark Chilcutt (seen with Poco) and Frankie Larrieu, were chosen to lovingly handle Poco, and we are very grateful for their encouragement and appreciate them both for their joyful attitudes!
